This big adventure all started in June 2008 with the birth of my son Shan. Even before I was pregnant, I always knew that I wanted to use cloth diapers, not only to help reduce the amount of pollution on our planet but also for the health benefits that they would bring to my child. The first cloth diapers that I ever used were given to me as a gift from my cousin. She had originally bought them second-hand and was able to make use of them on all three of her children. Therefore, my son was the fifth child to have worn them. After 6 months of usage, I had to shop around to find some new diapers as the old ones were starting to be worn out.

This is how Baby Gaia Cloth Diapers was born. I found myself on the internet finding a colossal amount of information regarding the horrifying damage disposable diapers do to our planet. I told myself that this was my duty to inform the general public of the multiple benefits that cloth diapers would bring. I could no longer turn away, especially with all the distress calls that our planet Gaia is sending to us. I learned that every baby uses approximately 6000 disposable diapers from birth until the time they are potty trained. That’s one ton of waste that could be easily avoided. One disposable diaper takes approximately 500 years before it’s fully decomposed.

With all of this information, I promised myself to inform everyone of the benefits of cloth diapers. Therefore, allow me to be a resource person for you and your family and show you how easy it is to use cloth diapers. I will support you throughout this eco friendly change. Cloth diapers are far from being the nightmare they use to be. They are modern, easy to use and your baby will make a fashion statement with them. I will also offer free information sessions that explain all the benefits of cloth diapers. These sessions will inform you on the environmental, ecological, economic, social and the overall health of our babies.

I hope that I was able to transmit to you a little of my passion towards the health of our planet Gaia and of our babies.
